This product is intended for use in small scale cricket matches: schools, fields, clubs, etc. The board is portable and it operates with a portable battery. It contains electronic LED modules that display numbers. It can be placed hanging from an object, like a pole, or it can be placed on a stand on the ground. It withstands environmental conditions like rain and UV light. Working with Bluetooth, it is operated remotely.

My work covered the steps from concept to manufacture:

- Concept ideas

- CAD design development

- Prototyping

- Design for manufacture

Cricket scoreboard

The product is intended to be made in small quantities, initially, so different methods to achieve this, on a large enclosure, have been explored: 3D printing, CNC machining and soft tool injection moulding.

3D CAD modelling of product. The casing has a built-in handle to carry the product.

Design for electronics support. The unit has gaskets to protect the electronics from rain.

The board can stand on its own with the help of detachable feet.

The scoreboard design allows for easy and prompt access to install and remove the electronics for repairs.
